About me
Stephanie Cardella is a seasoned instructional leader with over 20 years of experience in education, including executive roles focused on advancing personalized and competency-based learning. She has led district- and network-wide initiatives to implement personalized learning models, develop standards-based and concept-driven curricula, and design equitable instructional systems that support all learners. As Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Distinctive Schools, she oversaw academic strategy, professional learning, and MTSS implementation, while leading cross-functional teams to integrate personalized, culturally responsive practices. Stephanie has also designed and led the My Path/Mi Camino initiative, transitioned schools to 1:1 digital learning environments, and presented nationally on learner profiles, differentiated instruction, deep learning strategies and human-centered artificial intelligence in education. Her work reflects a deep commitment to innovation, equity, and student-centered education.
