About me
Helena is an ISBE-licensed special education teacher, principal, and board-certified behavior analyst. She provides families and stakeholders with exceptional ABA and special education expertise, offering more than a decade of public and private education experience. She has worked in various school-based positions throughout her career, including her current appointment as director of a local therapeutic day school. Helena is passionate about utilizing current research and evidence-based techniques for effective and meaningful academic, emotional, and social change in children and adolescents struggling with skill deficits. She provides a diverse array of training solutions, including trauma-informed care, tailored specifically to the needs of organizations, schools, educators, and caregivers. Helena is credentialed nationally and licensed in Illinois.
