About me
I’m committed to meeting students where they are—academically, emotionally, and developmentally. I use empirically supported strategies to foster meaningful learning and support student well-being, blending research with real-world classroom application.
My work centers around blended learning and positive psychology, two powerful frameworks that inform my teaching and leadership. I’ve presented on these topics at local and national conferences, helping other educators implement research-based strategies in their own classrooms. I currently serve as the chair of the NCSS Psychology Community.
I am the author of The Blended Learning Blog, where I share practical, classroom-tested ways to embed blended learning and positive psychology into everyday instruction.
I also serve as co-host of the “Teach in Ten” podcast, which spotlights innovative and inspiring educators from District 155 and creates space for professional dialogue and storytelling within our school community.
In addition to my instructional work, I contributed content to the AMSCO AP Psychology textbook, helping develop accessible, rigorous materials for advanced psychology learners.
Currently, I serve as the Division Leader of International Studies at Cary-Grove High School, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration between the Social Science and World Language departments.
