Hi! I’m Katie, a Reading Interventionist and Learning/Literacy Coach at McHenry High School in Illinois. I have 16 years of teaching experience and began my career with a degree in Special Education. I later earned my Master’s in Reading and became a Reading Specialist. In my current role, I support teachers and students by focusing on disciplinary literacy, reading intervention, and practical strategies that help all learners access and engage with complex texts.
